Poppy Mae Quilt

I fell in love with this fabric collection when it first came out and purchased this jelly roll at a time when I really couldn’t afford a jelly roll. It’s been in my stash forever, but just called to me several months ago to me made into a quilt.

This was actually the last quilt that I pieced on my old sewing machine, and it really highlighted for me the need for a new machine. The piecing isn’t perfect, of course, but this is a great size quilt and it is definitely cozy. Also the fabrics make me happy every time I look at it!

I quilted it with a simple wavy vertical line and did a scrappy binding from leftover jelly roll strips.
